Ardkeen Opticians is a new independantly owned optometric practice situated next door to the Uluru Bar and restaurant on the Cove roundabout on the Dunmore Rd Waterford.

We opened on 26 May 2004 !!

Kjell Nolke the Optometrist owner, qualified in 1993 in Dublin and after Twleve years working in Killarney, London, Australia Newzealand and Southampton Southern England is delighted to return home to Ireland to set up this new practice. We pride ourselves in our new look practice and enjoy developing the selection of spectacle styles, brands and ranges available at the practice. It has happened that we will get in a whole new range on the request of a single customer! - if that range fits in with our expected patient base.

Our contact lens ranges are also non restrictive in that if there is a specialist lens you need - we can get it. Obviously we also cater for everyday - daily and monthly lenses at very compeditive prices. - see our Contact lens page for further information. Up to date current patients can even email in their order for the next supply of lenses to be mailed to them at no extra cost!(Direct mailing can depend on lens tpye)

We would like to take this oppertunity to thank Cara and Sinead at the Ardkeen Library for their excellent work in developing this web site and hope that it grows into the future, with new additions and features.
