What do we believe?
God the Creator There is one God who is the loving creator of the world. God is the ruler of all people. Our Sin We have all rejected God as our ruler and have tried to run our lives our own way without him. The Bible calls this ‘sin’. We deserve to be rejected and punished by God because of our sin.
Jesus Jesus died on the cross and rose again from the dead to bring us forgiveness. Jesus is the Son of God, and trusting in him brings new life. Forgiveness is a free gift that cannot be earned or contributed to.
Our Choice All people are faced with a choice. Either continue to try to run life their own way and face God’s punishment or trust Jesus for forgiveness and live for him.
A Certain Hope When we trust in Jesus we are completely forgiven, we become children of God, we are given God’s Holy Spirit which enables us to live for God and we have complete certainty of heaven.
The Bible The Bible is how God communicates to people. It tells us what he is like and what he requires of us. The Bible is the ultimate authority on God and how we can know him. God gives those who trust Jesus his Holy Spirit who enables us to understand the Bible and do what it says.
Our Aim We are commited to encouraging people to read the Bible for themselves. We believe that through reading the Bible and trusting what God says we discover who Jesus is and how we can know Him.
